On Tuesday, the Presti family will travel to the Massachusetts State House to call for passage of legislation that would force sex offenders to be classified before they leave jail. State representative Peter Koutoujian sponsored the bill, and will join the family at the hearing. He sits down with NECN's Shannon Ogden for a discussion.

By a 6-3 decision, the justices ruled the federal government has the authority to prosecute people who use marijuana for medical use -- even if it is legal in the state they live in. Colonel Christopher Conley, has something special to celebrate at his post in Afghanistan. His daughter teamed up with a fellow student at Fairfield University in Connecticut, Aamina Awan, to raise money for a well in the town where Lt. Colonel Conley is serving.
